Life began for the Old Tuscon Studios in 1939. This location was built in order to create the film 'Arizona' all those years ago and since then has been home to more than 70 movies with a Wild West flavour. Today, the Old Tuscon Studios could be described as type of an entertainment park in addition to a movie studio. The Old Tuscon Studios presents its visitors with the opportunity to grasp an insight to the filming of a western movie and to the history of the location.

Visitors to this Western adventure in Tuscon may step into the Wild West, feel the sandy desert and enjoy staged street shootings and gun fights in true Western style. Visitors may experience the feel of a Western movie and film set with saloons and staged stunt shows. A tour at this location illustrates the history of western movies filmed at the Old Tuscon Studios.

The Western doors to the Old Tuscon Studios are open from 10am to either 4 pm or 6 pm, depending on the time of year. It should be noted that on certain holidays, this location is closed, such as Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
